Devgad Beach: Six children from Pune drowned at Devgad beach, four died








Leaders Online Desk: The incident of 6 children drowning at Devgad beach took place today. It is preliminary information that all these are children of a private military academy in Pune. Out of this four persons died, one is missing. One is undergoing medical treatment. This incident, which happened on Saturday (9th) evening, has created a sensation.

A trip of 36 people from Sankalp Sainik Academy in Puneati came to Devgad in Sindhudurg district. It is preliminary information that six of them drowned when they went down into the sea at Devgad. Five of them have been rescued from the sea and one of them is still missing in the Devgad sea. Four of the five evacuated are said to have died.

The names of the dead children are Payal Bansode, Anisha Padwal, Prerna Dongre, Ankita Garte. The boy Akash Tupe is undergoing treatment at Rural Hospital Devgad. But the boy Ram Decholkar has not been found yet. His search is on. All these six are in the age group of 18 to 24 years.
