Demand for Eid-e-Miladun Nabi holiday on September 18 instead of September 16.

Former Minister Arif (Naseem) Khan wrote to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and demanded that Eid-e-Miladun Nabi be celebrated on September 18 instead of September 16. Ganesh Visarjan of Hindu brothers on September 17 is Anant Chaturthi day. Calendar also mentions September 16 as a holiday. In order to maintain the sanctity of this festival, which is sacred to both religions, a meeting of Aurangabad, Jalna, Malegaon, Bhiwandi, Thane and other various Muslim organizations of Maharashtra including Mumbai was held in the All India Khilafat Committee on 7th September. In the meeting, it was decided to hold the procession of the Muslim brothers on the birthday of Prophet Mohammed on 18th September instead of 16th September in order to maintain brotherhood and Hindu-Muslim harmony in the state. Keeping all these factors in mind, Congress leader Naseem Khan demanded through a letter that instead of September 16, a holiday should be declared in the state on September 18.
