New Delhi : The Delhi government will give Rs 1 crore each to the families of the five people who lost their lives during the Corona epidemic. Chief Minister Atishi has approved this proposal. Earlier, the Delhi government had given Rs 1 crore each to the families of 92 people who lost their lives in the Corona epidemic.
Corona epidemic was a terrible crisis for the entire humanity –
On this occasion, Chief Minister Atishi said, (CM Atishi) People of Delhi worked and sacrificed for the protection of humanity and society without caring about their lives during the Corona epidemic. Delhi Government salutes him. This amount certainly cannot compensate the loss suffered by the families of the deceased. However, this can definitely help them to live a dignified life. Corona epidemic was a terrible crisis for the entire humanity.
“The crisis had terrified everyone. However, thousands of people including our doctors, medical staff, support staff and sanitation workers worked day and night to fight this epidemic. Many lost their lives in this. The government has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the families of these people,” said Atishi.
Help will be given to the families of these people –
Sanjay Manchanda, Pharmacist SDMC –
Manchanda was working as a pharmacist in SDMC Patient Care Facility during Corona. Besides, he was also visiting the containment zone along with Asha workers and ANMs. He contracted Corona while on duty and died a few days later.
Ravi Kumar Singh –
Ravi Kumar was working as Junior Assistant in Maulana Azad Medical College. While on duty here, he contracted Corona and died.
Virendra Kumar –
Virender Kumar was a sanitation worker, he was cleaning the hunger relief center during Corona. He contracted Corona while on duty and died a few days later.
Bhavani Chandra –
Bhawani Chandra was an ASI in Delhi Police, who was on duty at Lok Nayak Hospital during Corona. He contracted Corona while on duty and died.
Md. Yasin –
Mohammad Yasin was a primary teacher in MCD. During Corona, Mohammad Yasin was on ration distribution duty. In the meantime, he also contracted the corona virus and died within days.
