Death toll rises to 11 in Israeli attacks on Baalbek, Lebanon

The death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Baalbek and surrounding towns in eastern Lebanon climbed to 11 on Thursday, with 14 others injured, according to Lebanons National News Agency.

The agency reported that an Israeli strike on a house in the village of Buday in the Baalbek district claimed the lives of a man, his wife, and their two children.

In another massacre, an entire family of six – parents and their four children – were killed in the village of Maqneh, and six others were injured.

Additionally, four Israeli airstrikes on the southern entrance of Baalbek city killed one woman and injured five others, after a home was destroyed while its residents were inside.

Another strike on a residential area in the Qasr Al Ulum neighborhood of the town of Douris injured three people, damaging dozens of nearby buildings, businesses, and institutions due to the blast’s impact.

So far, the total toll from Israeli attacks on the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate and central Beqaa region has reached 1,035 airstrikes, resulting in 528 deaths and over 1,069 injuries.
