*Ratnagiri, D-16:-* A prisoner serving sentence in Kolhapur Central Jail escaped by availing the accumulated leave of 28 days. The name of the criminal is Faik Mushtaq Karamblekar (res. Shivajinagar Ratnagiri). A case has been registered against him in the Ratnagiri city police. According to the information provided by the police, Faik Karamblekar is a native of Ratnagiri and was serving sentence in Kolhapur Central Jail. Faik was granted accumulated leave from 15 August 2024 to 11 September 2024. Accordingly, Fike was expected to appear in jail on September 12. Despite this, he escaped without returning to prison.
Such a complaint has been made by Kolhapur Jail Administration to Ratnagiri City Police. Further investigation in this matter is being done by the police.
