Construction workers will get all facilities including registration under one roof Taluka Level Setu Center of Labor Welfare Board inaugurated by Chief Minister Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis

Mumbai, Dt. 5:- Taluka Worker Facilitation Centers (Setu) which were started at the taluka level in the state to provide all facilities under one roof including registration and renewal of Maharashtra Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board, were inaugurated today by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Labor Minister Dr. The inauguration was done through television system in the presence of Suresh Khade. An information booklet prepared for the convenience of construction workers was also released on this occasion. After the Cabinet meeting, Ministers Sarveshree Dadaji Bhuse, Sanjay Rathod, Atul Save, Chief Secretary of State Mrs. Sujata Saunik, Principal Secretary of Labor Department Mrs. Vinita Ved-Singhal, Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Boards Vivek Kumbhar etc. were present. Principal Secretary Smt. Ved-Singhal gave information about this Setu Centre. Registration of construction workers, renewal tax and benefits distribution applications and original documents can be submitted through this bridge center. This center will also help to solve their problems. The Board has so far established 42 Labor Welfare Centers at the district level in the state. Apart from these centres, these labor welfare centers are being started in 358 talukas of the state. This will facilitate the process of registration, renewal and benefit application for workers. This will save time and cost of workers. All the facilities of the board will be available under one roof. Manpower of five persons like manager, three data entry operators and helpers will also be provided at this center.0000
