Confusion on the highway due to MIM’s march! Thane: MIM leader Imtiaz Jalil’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Mumbai ‘Tricolor Constitution Rally’ has arrived at the gates of Mumbai. The march was stopped by the police at Mulund toll road. But this rally caused huge traffic jam on the Mumbai-Nashik highway. Due to this, citizens returning home from work at night suffered.

Jalil had called for this march to protest the provocative statements of Ramgiri Maharaj and BJP leader Nitesh Rane. Thousands of party workers from various parts of the state including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar have participated in the march by buses, cars and two-wheelers. On Monday night, the march moved towards Mumbai from the Mumbai-Nashik highway. But due to this, long queues of vehicles were formed at Mulund toll naka, Majivada, Kharegaon toll naka. It used to take half an hour for a distance of just five to 10 minutes. Mumbai police stopped the march at Mulund toll plaza. But the queues of vehicles on the highway continued till late at night.
