*Oros, D-30:-* Talwade Sarpanch Vanita Mestri, Kalambist Sarpanch, Upsarpanch and eight members of Sawantwadi taluka, as well as Bandivade Khurd-Upsarpanch and In-charge Sarpanch Arvind Satam of Malvan taluka have received a clean chit from the Konkan Divisional Commissioner. The applications for action against these three have been dismissed after investigation.
As Talwade sarpanch had given the letter to the power distribution company to retain the caste power distribution employees against the resolution of the gram sabha, it was demanded to take disqualification action against them. When a complaint was lodged with the police about damage to the roof of the kindergarten building recorded in the assessment register of Gram Panchayat Kalambaist, the Gram Panchayat did not follow up on it. It was also complained that the sarpanch, deputy sarpanch and members had neglected their responsibility to preserve the building due to the collapse of the building.
