RIYADH — The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged citizens and residents to take precautions and seek safe areas, avoiding locations prone to flash floods and valleys.
It advised against swimming in these areas while emphasizing the importance of adhering to instructions disseminated through various media outlets.
Rainfall is expected to continue in certain regions of the Kingdom from Friday through Tuesday.
The Makkah region may experience dust-stirring winds along with moderate to heavy rainfall and possible hail. The Riyadh region is also likely to be affected by moderate to heavy rainfall.
Additionally, the Eastern Region, Najran, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan will see moderate to heavy rainfall, while light to moderate rainfall is expected in the regions of Madinah, the Northern Borders, Qassim, and Hail.
