Ratnagiri : The Rajivada fish market in Ward No. 15 of the city is being encroached on the road. This market is causing a lot of trouble to the local citizens and it is becoming difficult to go there. As this business takes place on both sides of the main road, school children, women and senior citizens face difficulties. Sometimes there are verbal clashes between fishmongers and citizens. Due to the sale of fish throughout the day, a huge amount of filth has spread. Dogs are walking. Many children and senior citizens have been bitten. Many encroachments in the city have been removed by the city council, but citizens say that they are surprised that they are not removing the encroachments of the Rajivada fish market.
In this regard, the citizens have often given written statements to the city council regarding these serious matters, but no action has been taken regarding this unsanitary and encroachment.
For this, the citizens of Shivkhol, Rajivada and Jamaatul Muslimin Shivkhol have submitted a written statement along with the photos of this fish market to the Chief Ratnagiri Municipal Council and if this fish market is not removed from this place by the end of October 1, then the citizens will protest from October 2.
