Chiplun, 28: The Mumbai police arrested a gang of four who cheated a person in Chiplun of Rs 4 lakh by making miraculous anti-iron coin or rice puller coin and selling it for good profit. This information was given by Parag Bhat, who investigated this crime. The suspects have been remanded in police custody till September 30. Bhat said that during the investigation it came to light that the gang had cheated people in many parts of the state. (crime news)
He said, ‘Ejaz Karimuddin Syed, who lives in Maryam building in Naya Nagar area of Miraroad, said that Kapil (Rest. Borivali) brings a special chemical to make anti-iron coin and after making that coin, he gets good profit from selling it in the market. Accordingly Syed had given 50 thousand rupees to Kapil; But Kapil made a coin and benefited far from it; But Syed filed a complaint in Naya Nagar Police Station as he did not pay even the principal. (ratnagiri khabardar news) Police registered a case on September 22. After getting Kapil’s photograph and footage, the police arrested Kapil Harishchand Sikoria (age 37, Res. Maru Niwas, Carter Road No. 7, Borivali), a tailor. After his investigation Suraj Namdev More (aged 41) and Sunny Suhas Dutta (aged 24) of travel business, both residing at Esperance Building, Cross Garden, Bhayander and broker Kiran Kalubhai Parmar (aged 33, residing at New Sunrise Building, RNP Park, Bhayander East) three others were arrested. The suspected accused have so far defrauded 30 people of about 14 lakh 50 thousand. It has a person from Chiplun. (ratnagiri news live)
