Chiplun: House voting in Kolkewadi-Dhangarwadi; Officers walked for one and a half hours on the mountain

Chiplun : After the officers and employees involved in home voting in Kolkewadi Dhangarwadi in the taluka walked for one and a half hours through the hill, two senior citizens got the right to vote.

In the wake of the Assembly elections, government officials reached the homes of senior citizens above 85 years of age and disabled relatives in Chiplun Constituency. Therefore, the government system is making continuous efforts to exercise their right to vote. This voting process is being implemented by visiting the ward and searching for such voters. The process of home voting has started from Thursday and the program was implemented in the rural areas of the taluka on Friday. Teams have been formed for this polling, and these teams are reaching the settlements in the Sahyadri valley. Some of these voters live in Dhangarwada on a high hilltop.

When the government machinery reached the house of this community member, the officials were surprised to see his awareness about voting. A team for home polling had entered Kolkewadi wadsahi Dhangarwadi in the taluka on Friday. The team consisting of 6 people left for the mission around 8 am. On the way to this Dhangarwadi on the top of the hill from the main road, one had to walk for about one and a half hours while traveling through bushes and forests. Inspector Khatri of this team, along with central level officer Mangesh Pingle, polling officer Sapna Jadhav, central president Ganesh Lokhande, police chate, photographer Yash Kasar, village panchayat employee Sandesh Mohite etc. reached Dhangarwadi.

There were 85-year-old women and disabled voters. Voting process was explained to both of them at their home and they were taken to vote. Their happiness was doubled as they could vote at home. After completing the voting process, the team reached down around 12:30 in the afternoon after walking for one and a half hours.

This settlement is still waiting for candidates
This community member, who has been aloof since the start of the election process even till the campaign meeting, is still waiting for candidates. These brothers are waiting with the feeling that candidates will come to Dhangarwadis and understand our questions.
