Ratnagiri, Dt. 27 (JIMACA) : Child help line service for all children between the ages of 0 to 18 who are in any kind of trouble/distress and in need of care and protection through Government of India, Department of Women and Child Development New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra, Department of Women and Child Development for immediate assistance to children in distress. 1098 is operational across Maharashtra. Under this service, 24X7 helpline service is available to children in distress. Dr. Prashant Naranvare (B.P.S.), Commissioner, Women and Child Development, Maharashtra State has appealed to help the distressed children by calling the toll free number 1098.* If you see child laborers, child beggars, Common citizens are confused about where and how they can get the necessary help immediately if they find sexually abused children, missing children and found children, children in distress who need help. Child helpline service 1098 is operational all over Maharashtra for immediate help to such distressed children. The child can take the benefit of this service himself or anyone else can help the child through the said service.000
