Pune, 6th: The 100th All India Marathi Theater Conference was inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Mr. Shinde did.

Content, subject matter, performance, scenery, music need to be broken in order to be liked by drama lovers, Marathi theater is flourishing by doing that. Today, even in the age of social media, audiences flock to plays. Along with commercial, experimental theater is also getting good response from the audience. Thousands of artists and behind-the-scenes artists have contributed to this. In the last 100 years, the theater is moving forward, overcoming many difficulties while experiencing a golden age. That is why the Anand Sohla of this theater is being celebrated in Dimakha, Chief Minister Shinde said.
A concerted effort for the flourishing of theater
Stating that he is striving for the development of Marathi theatre, Mr. Shinde said, since it is the 100th Natya Samela, 9 crore 83 lakh has been given for the Natya Samela and 10 crore for the Yashwantrao Chavan Theater in Mumbai. New theaters will be constructed by the Cultural Affairs Department, but while doing this, action will be taken through the Urban Development Department to repair the old theaters as per the demand of theater artists.
Assistance will be given in providing plot in Mumbai for Marathi Natya Parishad. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation's theater will be charged for electricity as before. The government is also positive about the senior artists' home. He assured that the government will provide all kinds of support for the Marathi theater while making a concerted effort for the growth of the theater industry.
Marathi drama did the work of entertainment and enlightenment-Khasdar Sharad Pawar
Senior leader Mr. Sharad Pawar expressed his happiness about the theater meeting being held in the holy land of Chinchwad and said, theater is the most effective medium which is a confluence of all arts. Bharatamuni has said that the main purpose of drama is entertainment, but the work of enlightenment and enlightenment is best done through drama. People's education is being done through theater for many years. New topics are being introduced by Marathi theater. He expressed hope that plays that attract theater lovers to theaters should come on stage. Industry Minister Mr. Samant said, the decision to hold a theater meeting at Pimpri Chinchwad was taken unanimously.
