Many people get fooled by clicking on these fraudulent links because they are going to get money or money. But always be alert to avoid this, often even educated people give OTP and fall prey to fraud. To avoid this, CA Mandar Gadgil appealed that he was speaking in the financial literacy program on behalf of Ratnagiri branch of CA Institute. Frauds have often happened by sending OTP on mobile. Your BSNL company number is going to be closed, in the name of stock market, it doubles the money, fraud is done through various means. Care should also be taken while making online payments. Do not share your password with anyone. Be careful while withdrawing money from ATM. Knowledge of cyber security is also essential. Often well-educated persons, even senior citizens give information out of fear and get cheated. We should be aware of the financial transactions.
