Mumbai : NCP State President MP Sunil Tatkare has been elected as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Petroleum and Natural Gas Committee of the country and he is being congratulated from all levels.
Sunil Tatkare has been given the honor in the petroleum and natural gas sector, which has the fastest demand, supply and economic growth in the country. This has become a matter of pride for Raigad along with Maharashtra.
31 MPs from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha are included in this committee and Raigad MP Sunil Tatkare has become the chairman of this committee. At present, the petroleum and natural gas sector is experiencing the highest growth in all sectors of the country. The growth rate of this sector is about 3 to 5 percent every year. This sector has the highest contribution in the economic growth of the country. The importance of petroleum and natural gas sector in terms of national and international trade and inter-relationship is unique. The sector is leading in terms of import-export policy, infrastructure and industrial growth. Therefore, petroleum and natural gas are important as the foundation of the country’s progress and prosperity. Petroleum and natural gas sector is considered as the ‘fuel and engine’ of economic progress of the country. That is why MP Sunil Tatkare is said to be the honor of Maharashtra as the chairmanship of a parliamentary committee of unique importance has come to him.
