Ch on Ratnadurg Fort. Appoint police to protect statue of Shivaji Maharaj, NCP demands

Sharad Pawar’s NCP district vice president Milind Kier and city president Nilesh Bhosle have demanded planning of police, security guards and CCTV to protect the 24-feet tall statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which will be erected at Ratnadurg Fort in Ratnagiri. A statement in this regard has also been given to Ratnagiri Nagar Parishad chief Tushar Babar. The Shiva Srishti project near Ratnadurg fort has reached the final stage of completion. This Shiva Srishti will be launched on October 4. This project is being implemented on the initiative of Guardian Minister Uday Samant. There is a 25 feet tall full length statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj here.
