Enraged MLA Vaibhav Naik and other Shiv lovers vandalized the public works office after the statue collapsed. In this case, a case has been registered in the police station late last night against MLA Naik along with two others.
The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Rajkot Fort collapsed at around 1 o’clock in the afternoon yesterday. Later in the afternoon MLA Vaibhav Naik along with Taluka head of Ubatha group Hari Khobarekar, Mandar Keni and other Shiv lovers went to the public works office in Medha and vandalized the materials and windows of the office. According to the complaint given by the police late last night, a case has been registered against the three in the police station. Under the guidance of Police Inspector Praveen Kolhe, Deputy Inspector of Police Mr. Yashwante was investigating further.
