*Sindhudurgnagari, D-29:-* District Deputy Registrar Manik Sangle has appealed to all the cooperative societies in the district to complete the audit within the prescribed time limit by the end of 2023-24 and submit the audit report to the Registrar’s office. All registered co-operative societies are required to file returns (c) to (f) with the audit report within six months of the end of each financial year (before 30th September) with the registrar concerned. According to section 75, the annual meeting of the board of directors of the organization should be held within a period of one month from the date of the annual meeting and the resolution regarding the appointment of auditors from the list approved by the state government and the consent letter of the relevant auditors should be filed with the relevant registrar. It is hereby requested that the auditor appointment resolution for the year 2024-25 and the letter of consent regarding the auditor should reach the office of the Registrar of the concerned organization before 31st October. In case the audit appointment resolution does not receive auditor’s approval letter within the time limit, auditor appointment order will be issued for the audit.
