Sawantwadi, Date -04-: Bhajani Mandals of Sawantwadi, Dodamarg and Vengurla talukas will be distributed incentive free bhajani literature sets through Bharatiya Janata Party and Sandeep Eknath Gawde. This program will be held today, Wednesday, September 4 at 3 o’clock. Guardian Minister Ravindra Chavan will attend the program as the chief guest. This information has been given by Sandeep Gawde through a press release.
Shri Ganesh Chaturthi festival is around the corner. We look at it as the biggest festival in Konkan, Chakarmas come in large numbers to our village for this excitement. Bhajan is a religious heritage and a cultural movement that has been seen in this place for many years, Gawde Yani has decided to give a set of bhajan literature to the bhajan groups in the village at his own expense. Online and offline application process was implemented for this. Out of 287 complete applications, 111 were approved in Sawantwadi taluka. In Vengurla taluka, out of 131 complete applications, 43 were approved and in Dodamarg taluka, 29 out of 54 complete applications were approved. All these mandals will be given bhajani material like tabla 1 no., pakhwaj 1 no., taal 4 no. This program will be held today at three o’clock in the afternoon at Barrister Nath Pai Auditorium in Sawantwadi city. Various programs have also been organized on this occasion.
