Customer Complaint on Ambedos; Role of complaint in consumer forum against Mahavidran
Malvan Correspondent: Dhananjay Nayak of Ambados Tembwadi has complained that the electricity bill is being collected wrongly without showing the electricity meter reading. Mahavitaran should take appropriate action in this regard and charge the bill as per the electricity meter. Otherwise, Naik has clarified that he will file a complaint in the consumer forum.
When Malvan went to the MSEB office to inquire about the electricity bill amounting to thousands of rupees, he came to know that there was no meter reading. Fraud is being committed by charging the estimated electricity bill for the whole year through the said electricity meter. When he was asked why the electricity meter was not reading, he was told that the electricity meter was in a closed room. In this regard, a photo of a closed room was shown. Actually the electricity meter is not in any closed room. It is on the outer wall of the house. But MSEB is committing fraud by showing another photo with closed door and charging extra electricity bill without any reason.
Emphasis is being laid on payment of electricity bills. Otherwise it has been said that the power supply will be switched off. However, Dhananjay Dhondi Naik has clarified in the complaint application that he will get proper justice in this regard, otherwise he will complain in the consumer forum.
