Bike collides with ST at Kuwarbaw; Crime on rider

Ratnagiri : A case was registered with the city police against the two-wheeler who hit the ST at Kuwarbav on the Ratnagiri-Hatkhamba road. The accident happened on September 24, 2024 at around 8.30 pm. The suspect has been registered as Santosh Tatoba Mane (39, Utkarshnagar Kuwarbav, Ratnagiri).

According to the police, Santosh Mane was traveling from Kuwarbav on a two-wheeler (MH 08 BF 0798) around 8.30 pm on September 24. At this time, when the Rajapur-Ratnagiri Via Oni bus (MH20 BL 2117) was coming towards Ratnagiri, Santosh collided head-on with his two-wheeler at Kuwarbav. Santosh’s neck was injured along with the bike. The front part of the bus was also damaged. In this case, the police registered a case on the charge of careless driving.
