Ratnagiri : Now all the political parties are preparing vigorously for the assembly elections (Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024). Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti are currently discussing seat allocation.
In Konkan (Konkan) assembly seats are seen becoming prestigious. Now Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena UBT) has reached the final decision regarding the seats of the Vidhan Sabha in Ratnagiri district. Because, there is information that Uddhav Thackeray has decided his candidates for three out of five seats in the district. It includes the places of Guhagar, Rajapur and Dapoli.
It is reported that Sanjay Kadam from Dapoli, Bhaskar Jadhav from Guhagar and Rajan Salvi from Rajapur have been sealed. Uddhav Thackeray reviewed the assembly constituency in the district just two days ago. Discussed and reviewed with some key officials. But, still who is the candidate against Uday Samant? No definite decision has been taken in this regard. The main issue is that there was no discussion about Chiplun assembly seat in this meeting. During this discussion, the name of Vikrant Jadhav was also discussed with Bhaskar Jadhav from Guhagar.
Appreciation of Salvi from seat to Congress
Congress is very insistent about Rajapur seat. Presently, Rajan Salvi is the MLA in this place. Congress had demanded this seat. The meeting also discussed about giving seat to Congress. But, Rajan Salvi supported me even in difficult times. Moreover, Rajan Salvi remained steadfast even after the ACB-like inquiry was pushed back. Uddhav Thackeray has said that it is not right to drop him.
What place for Congress, NCP?
Congress is insisting to get at least one seat in Ratnagiri district for assembly elections, according to previous calculations, Congress is currently claiming Rajapur seat. Moreover, Sharad Pawar’s NCP, which is part of the Mahavikas Aghadi, has made strong preparations for the Chiplun seat. So what seats will Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP get? This will be important to watch.
