Mumbai : The Election Commission has settled the party symbol dispute that has been going on for the past several days. The Election Commission has decided to give bow and arrow symbol to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's group. Because of this, the Thackeray group has received a big shock. Both groups were busy for the past two months in submitting documentary evidence to get us the bow and arrow symbol. After seeing the same documents, the Election Commission has decided to hand over the bow and arrow symbol to the Shinde group.
In the next two to three months, the elections to the Municipal Corporation and other local bodies will be held in the state. Before that, the Shinde group got a big relief by getting the bow and arrow symbol. Along with the party symbol, Shiv Sena has also been given to the group of Eknath Shinde. Earlier, the Election Commission had given different marks to both the groups while giving the interim decision. Neither of the two groups had been given the name Shiv Sena. Shinde's group was named Shiv Sena of Balasaheb and Thackeray's group was named Shiv Sena – Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray. But while giving the final decision, the Election Commission has given its decision to the Shinde group and given it the name Shiv Sena.
