*Vengurle, D-13:-* Bor Parliamentarian Ba. To preserve the memory of Nath Pai, the statue was created at Vengurle Camp by the Maharashtra government. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Nath Pai Community Center is scheduled for Saturday, September 14 at 5 p.m.
This bar was built through Vengurle Nagar Parishad. Various memories of Naths have been highlighted in the Nath Pai Community Centre. Born on September 25, 1922 in Vengurta. Nath Pai has made significant contributions to Konkan and Konkanians. He is known as a freedom fighter, patriot and an excellent parliamentarian. Nath Pai Hain represented Konkan in the Lok Sabha from 1957 to 1971. During his tenure as an MP, he consistently raised issues of the interest of Konkanites. In terms of Konkan development, Mr. Nath Pai convened the session of the Konkan Development Council and also served as its President. As the President, he presented a formulaic plan for the development of Konkan. Whose railway is also Nath’s dream. It was from there that the real beginning of Konkan Railway took place. Creation of Union of Maharashtra, Liberation of Goa and Belgaum
He focused on the three issues of border issue. In his memory, this bar near Dontus Colony at Vengurle Camp. Nath Pai Community Center has been set up. The public works minister and district guardian minister Ravindra Chavan will inaugurate the building. State Minister for Marathi Language and School Education Deepak Kesarkar, MP Narayan Rane, State Industries Minister Uday Samant, Graduate Constituency MLA Niranjan Dawkhare, Legislative Council MLA Dyaneshwar Mhatre, Kankavali Constituency MLA Nitesh Rane, Kudal Constituency MLA Vaibhav Naik, Collector Anil Patil etc. Dignitaries will be present. Appealed that Nath Pai lovers should attend this dedication ceremony. Aditi Pai, President of Nath Pai Foundation for Konkan Development, Paritosh Kankal, Chief Executive of Vengurle Nagar Parishad and Hemant Nikam, Administrator and District Officer, have done it.
