Asha, group promoters now march on Nagpur Convention on 18th

Although various pending demands of Asha and group promoters have been approved, no written order has been issued by the government in this regard. Therefore, a march will be held on December 18 at the Nagpur Legislative Assembly, said Shankar Pujari, the state president of the organization.
Over the years, Asha and group promoter women have repeatedly been doing Andel for their various demands. But it is being ignored. Last month, once again taking an aggressive stance, 72 thousand Asha and 3672 group promoters in the state were on strike from October 18, 2023. Health Minister Tanaji Sawant had announced an increase of Rs 7 thousand to Asha and Rs 6 thousand 200 to group promoters and a Diwali gift of Rs 2 thousand to Asha and At promoters. However, the written orders have not yet been issued in this regard. This has created dissatisfaction. The organization has once again appealed to Elgar to issue this written order soon. It has been decided to hold a march on Nagpur Convention on 18th December. Shankar Pujari said that this march will be taken out from Nehru's Park to Nagpur Convention at 11 am.
