Asaram Bapu, who is serving life imprisonment for the crime of rape, has been sent to Jodhpur again.

Asaram Bapu, a self-proclaimed saint and serving a life sentence for rape, has been sent back to Jodhpur. Naradham Asaram Bapu was brought to Madhavbagh Medical Center in Khalapur taluka for treatment of heart disease. Actually he was supposed to be treated for 6 days. Actually the treatment was for 12 days. After that Asaram Bapu has again been sent to jail in Jodhpur. Meanwhile, it is reported that Asaram is likely to be called again after a month for re-examination. Asaram Bapu is serving life sentence in Jodhpur Jail in Rajasthan for raping a minor girl. Asaram Bapu (85) was arrested in September 2013 in a rape case. He is suffering from diseases like heart disease, thyroid. Therefore, according to the order of the High Court, Asaram Bapu was allowed to seek treatment in an Ayurvedic hospital in Maharashtra.
