Kumar and Girls Union Secretary Advocate from the State Championship and Selection Trial Kho-Kho Tournament held in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. The announcement was made by Govind Sharma. These teams will participate in the 42nd Kumar-Girls National Championship to be held in Chhattisgarh. Vaibhav More (Thane) has been chosen as the captain of the Kumar team and Deepali Rathore (Pune) has been chosen as the captain of the girls team. Arya Dorlekar of Ratnagiri has been selected in the girls team.
An expert committee was appointed to select the team. Vaibhav More (Thane, Captain), Ganesh Borkar, Faraj Shaikh, Krishna Bansode (all Solapur), Chetan Bika, Tejas Jadhav, Chetan Gundgil, Bhavesh Meshare (all Pune), Ramesh Vaswe, Bharat Vaswe, Srishanbhu Pethe (Dharashiv). Kumar Group., Om Patil (Sangli), Rohit Gavit (Nandurbar), Harsh Kamtekar (Mumbai). Pratap Shelar (Thane) as coach, Santosh Karnale (Sangli) as assistant coach, Rajesh Sonawane (Nandurbar) as manager.
The girls' group includes Deepali Rathore (captain, Thane), Ashwini Shinde, Suhani Dhotre, Sandhya Survase, Systema Kale (all Dharashiv), Sanika Chafe, Pratiksha Barajdar, Nayan Kale (all Sangli), Divya Gaikwad, Sanvi Talwadekar, Tejasvi Patekar ( All Thane), Purva Wagh (Pune), Sadiya Mulla (Solapur), Sakshi Parsekar (M. Suburban), Arya Dorlekar (Ratnagiri). Srikant Gaikwad (Mumbai), Assistant Supriya Gadve (Dharashiv), Manager Nandini Dhumal (Mumbai) are the coaches. Arya Derlekar of Ratnagiri has been given guidance by national coach Pankaj Chavande.
