Alandi, Date -29:- Today (29th), another twenty to twenty-five-year-old woman has committed suicide by jumping into Indrayani river while the incident of female police officer committing suicide by jumping into Indrayani river in the pilgrimage town of Alandi. This incident has increased the concern of Alandi Police and Municipal Council administration. Meanwhile, the search for the body of the woman concerned is going on at war level.
According to the local police, the incident took place around 8 am on Thursday. Bhakti on the Indrayani river jumped into the riverbed from the newly constructed skywalk bridge near the Sopan bridge. Meanwhile, Alandi Police, Alandi Fire Department team is searching for the woman in Indrayani river. At present, the flow of water to Indrayani river is high. Therefore, a search operation is being carried out at the lower side of the new bridge as well as at other places. The name of the woman who committed suicide as well as the reason for suicide is not yet known. Alandi Police is investigating the incident.
On Sunday (25th) at around 5:55 pm, a woman jumped into the river from the Garuda pillar near the new bridge of Indrayani river. After that, search operation started in Indrayani River by the team of Alandi Police, Alandi Fire Department, NDRF. Finally, on Wednesday (28th), the body of the concerned police woman was found in the riverbed of Golegaon. Anushka Kedar was working in the Pune Rural Police Force. She was currently posted at Pune Rural Headquarters. On Sunday around 5.50 pm, near the new bridge of Indrayani river, the eagle jumped from the pillar into the river. But before jumping into the river, Anushka Kedar called one of her friends who lives in Dehuphata Alandi. It was reported that he had said on the phone that he was going to jump into the Indrayani river. Accordingly, the police called the friend and started questioning him.
