Devender Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Kirti Kiran Pujar, Additional Collector Shankar Berge, Resident Deputy Collector Chandrakant Suryavanshi, District Superintendent Agriculture Officer Jalinder Pangre, Leading District Manager Mukund Khandekar, Deputy General Manager Agriculture Marketing Board Milind Joshi, District Deputy Registrar Dr. Sopan Shinde and others were present. While guiding the meeting, the Guardian Minister Shri. Samant said, the government is being followed up from time to time to solve the various problems of the mango growers. A proposal should be sent to the Finance Department to get the benefit of loan waiver and interest exemption for the mango growers and take action in this regard. Banks should provide loans to mango farmers irrespective of their CIBIL score and also treat the beneficiaries of various schemes with respect when they come to the bank. The Guardian Minister gave instructions that all the banks should be instructed by the leading bank. Cages have been provided for housing monkeys and apes. According to the Guardian Minister, Shri. Samant gave. Through the Sindhuratna Yojana, medicines, fertilizers and implements for spraying will be made available to the farmers at low rates. Action will be taken against those selling fake medicines. The Guardian Minister also said that a well-equipped laboratory for agricultural research will soon be set up in Ratnagiri, for which funds will be made available through the Sindhuratna Yojana. The marketing department should make it compulsory for the farmers to obtain Hapus GI rating so that bogus trade of Hapus mangoes can be stopped. Guardian Minister Shri. Samant gave.
