Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan assured that action will be taken soon regarding the outstanding bills of contractors. When he visited Ratnagiri, Chiplun Contractors Association President Suresh Chiplunkar and office bearers met him and discussed the bills along with other issues.
During the meeting with Minister Chavan on this occasion, Chiplunkar and officials immediately completed many works like roads and bridges important for transportation before the monsoon. But, the contractors are in financial crisis due to not receiving the bills. There are many difficulties in doing other work also. Therefore, a demand was made that the outstanding bills of the contractors should be paid soon. On this, Minister Chavan assured that appropriate action will be taken in this regard soon. On this occasion, entrepreneur Kiran Samant also participated in the discussion.
