Ratnagiri:- Mahavikas Aghadi has called Maharashtra bandh tomorrow to protest against the case of torture of two little girls in a school in Badlapur city. However, lawyer Gunaratna Sadavarte had approached the Bombay High Court against this ban. During the hearing on this petition, the Bombay High Court has said that the bandh is illegal. The court has ordered that political parties do not have the right to call a bandh but take action against those who call bandh. However, some political party officials are directly bullying the office bearers of the trade associations and telling them to keep the market closed tomorrow. District Police Superintendent Dhananjay Kulkarni was met today on behalf of Ratnagiri City Traders Federation and this matter was put in his ears. Tomorrow’s bandh is illegal and the high court has also said about it. No political party can call bandh. District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni has said that if anyone is forcing the closure of markets tomorrow, action will be taken against them. Dhananjaya Kulkarni has informed that adequate security arrangements have been made for this purpose and notices have also been issued to the concerned political leaders. Police have requested that if any such person is acting like a bully, contact 112 number.
