A young man died in an accident where a two-wheeler collided with a buffalo near Guhagar Padve.

A youth from Katale in Guhagar taluka has died after his bike collided with a buffalo at night. The name of the young man is Nikhil Dilip Kulye (age 23). Sahil Ajit Kulaye, who was with him, was hit on the head and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Derwan. The accident took place on Friday (13th) around 12 midnight when a two-wheeler collided with a buffalo on Padve Katala. Nikhil’s death has left Katale village in mourning. On Friday (13th) night, Nikhil and Sahil along with their friends took three bikes and went to Rohele village for bhajan. After the bhajan program, Nikhil and Sahil were returning to Katale village on a two-wheeler. Nikhil, who was riding the bike, did not see the buffalo crossing the road at night near Padve High School while Padve was riding his bike towards Katale from the fork. Due to this, Nikhil’s bike hit the buffaloes. Both Nikhil and Sahil hit the road when the bike collided. Nikhil fell unconscious on the spot. Friends of Nikhil, Sahil, who were coming behind, saw the accident. He immediately contacted Katale village. Nikhil and Sahil’s friends immediately took them to Abololi Primary Sub-centre. From there he was shifted to Derwan Hospital. But Nikhil died before reaching Derwan
