A woman in Ratnagiri was lured with money and cheated online of lakhs of rupees. This incident took place on July 18, 2024. The woman lodged a complaint with the Ratnagiri city police on Saturday regarding being cheated. The police registered a case against two suspects. The names of the suspects are Piyush Yadav and Meenakshi Ganoskar. The suspected accused sent a link to the mobile phone of the complainant and allowed her to do a task. Completing this task lured you with extra rewards. According to the link given by the suspects, the woman deposited 1 lakh 3 thousand rupees in that bank account. Out of the money paid by the woman, only 3 thousand rupees was returned from the accused. The woman complained to the Ratnagiri city police that she was cheated by not returning the remaining Rs 1 lakh.
