A wall painted with Warli painting at Jaigarh

Ratnagiri : NCC cadets cleaned the wall near Jaigad harbor and decorated it beautifully with Warli Petting during the Konkanratna Sea Cruise organized by Second Maharashtra NCC Naval Unit.

Meanwhile, this campaign will be concluded on Thursday (14th) at Bhagwati port. Commanding Officer (Army Medal) of 58 Maharashtra Battalion NCC Sindhudurg Colonel Deepak Dayal Prajh will attend this event. This campaign from Mirya to Jaigarh, Borya Bandar and back from there to Mirya and Bhagwati Bandar was conducted by Commanding Officer of NCC Naval Unit K. Successfully organized under the leadership of Rajesh Kumar.

During this camp, the wall near Jaigad harbor was beautifully painted by NCC students. One day the bushes and vines on this protective wall were cut. After that the wall was cleaned and first white color and then mother color was applied and Warli painting changed the color of the wall. JSW Foundation provided paint and materials for this. 60 cadets of NCC from Pune, Mumbai A, B, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Amravati and Kolhapur NCC headquarters painted the wall.

During the 10-day campaign, the cadets conveyed the message of beach cleanliness through a street drama about awareness campaign about cleanliness. Activities like boat pulling, rappelling, trekking, street play, rally were also conducted. Along with NCC cadets, NCC officers, Navy officers, Navy, Army personnel were present. As part of the campaign, visits were made to Ratnagiri, Mirya, Sakhartar, Kalbadevi, Tiwari, Varawade, Jaigad, Tawasal, Borya ports.

Thrill of daring games
NCC students experienced the thrill of moving the boat forward by studying the wind direction and speed. During the camp, the students experienced rappelling and trekking at Ratnadurg Fort and also visited Bhagwati Temple, Rameshwar Temple. Visited JSW Energy Project, Lighthouse. Raised public awareness about taking care of the sea through street theater every day. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, women liberation, first aid, environmental balance were enlightened.
