Malvan Ovaliye village incident: Nandkumar Angane family lost lakhs of rupees
Malvan | Correspondent: A fire broke out at the house of Nandkumar Manohar Angane family at Ovaliye in Malvan taluka on Monday midnight. The family was sleeping. The family screamed as soon as they woke up. Nearby villagers rushed to help. He started beating the water with the available tool. But the fire was burning more and more. The fire was eventually brought under control. By then, the house and its contents were burnt down.
As soon as he came to know that the house was on fire, Nand Kumar Angane came out of the house with his mother, wife and son. There were domestic animals in the cowshed adjacent to the house. They were also evacuated safely. A great calamity was thus averted. However, the house of Manohar Angane, who belongs to a farmer's family, has been burnt down in the fire and has lost lakhs of rupees. The fire was suspected to be caused by a short circuit. On getting information about the fire, former Speaker Sunil Ghadigaonkar rushed to the spot on Tuesday morning. The administration has been informed about this. A big crisis has fallen on the Angane family, who earn their livelihood by farming.
