A special train will leave the village daily for three days for the servants returning to Mumbai.

Keeping in view the rush of Chakarmanyas returning to Mumbai in large numbers after Ganeshotsav, the Konkan Railway Administration has announced six special trains from Khed. These trains will depart from Khed station on 13th, 14th and 15th of September consecutively. These trains will run till Panvel. These unreserved trains will depart from Khed station at six in the morning and half past three in the afternoon. These trains will have twenty coaches. These trains will have stops at all stations from Khed to Rohya. Further these trains will stop at Roha and Panvel. However, the train leaving at 3:30 PM on September 15 will run till CST. The train will also stop at Panvel, Dadar and Thane stations, the announcement of these trains will help reduce the congestion at Khed station of Konkan Railway. www.konkantoday.com
