A new twice-weekly train will soon start running on the Margaon to Bandra Terminus route in Mumbai

A new twice-weekly train will be launched soon on the Margaon to Bandra Terminus route in Mumbai. The proposal for this permanent train has been sent to the Railway Board for approval on August 21. According to the proposal sent to the Railway Board, this train will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Madgaon to Bandra Terminus. The train will run on Wednesdays and Fridays on the return journey. This twice weekly train will depart from Madgaon at 7:40 am and reach Bandra Terminus of Western Railway at 11:40 pm. Planning that this train will depart from Bandra at 6:50 am and reach Madgaon in Goa at 10 pm has been sent to the Railway Board for approval. Keeping in mind the inconvenience to the Konkan residents due to the absence of a permanent train from Mumbai to Konkan on the Western Railway route, a train running twice a week will be run at present. After departure from Bandra Terminus, this train will proceed to Margaon via Vasai, Bhiwandi, Panvel, Roha, etc. The train stops will be announced after the proposal is approved by the Railway Board.
