A female dog died after locking all the windows of the vehicle in Ganapatipule.


At Ganapatipule in Ratnagiri taluk, she died after closing all the windows of the vehicle and keeping a female dog locked in it. A case has been registered against the owner of the vehicle in Jaigad police station. This incident came to light on Saturday 9th December at 2.26 pm. The name of the vehicle owner against whom the case has been registered is Rishiraj Dattatray Joshi (23). According to him, on Saturday, December 9, at Varadvinayak Pay and Park in Ganapatipule, the suspect entered his vehicle (MH-15-EP-8199). After closing the glass, an approximately 8 month old Mongrel female dog was locked in it. He did not take care that the dog could move and breathe, so the dog died of suffocation. In this case, the suspect Prashant Mali was charged under Section 428 of the Indian Penal Code, Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960. A case has been registered under Section 11 (1) (d) of
