According to a complaint filed by the lady librarian of the institution, Ratnagiri City Police has charged the institution president Nayan Mulye (age 67) with her husband Prathamesh Mulye (age 36) against three female students living in the unauthorized hostel of Kamaljabai Pandurang Mulye High School and Junior College, Colombe in Sangameshwar taluka of Ratnagiri district. A case under POSCO has been registered against the principal of the school, Sanjay Mulye. Due to the registration of such a case against the 67-year-old institution manager, there has been a stir in the education sector of the district. According to the complaint filed by the librarian of the school in the Ratnagiri city police station, a hostel for boys is sanctioned under Kamaljabai Pandurang high school and junior college at Kolambe in Sangameshwar taluka, while the hostel for girls is run unofficially through the institution. Since the school was on holiday during Ganesh Utsav, out of total 23 girls staying in the hostel, 20 girls had gone to their village for Ganesh Utsav. Three of these girls had come to stay at the complainant’s house for the first few days. But since the complainant was going to Pune for this work, the three girls decided to stay with the director of the institution, Nayan Mulay. Accordingly, the girls stayed with them till the end of Ganeshotsav. During this period the girls were molested at Nayan Mule’s residence. The girls told us about this after the vacation. According to the complainant, she is filing a complaint. Accordingly, the police have registered a case under the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Act (POSCO) against the president of the organization Nayan Mulye (age 67) and his son Prathamesh Mulye (age 36) the principal of the school Sanjay Mulye. The related incident took place during Ganeshotsav and one of the three girls is studying in college and other two girls are studying in school. Senior police officials said that proper action will be taken after verifying the truth of the incident.
