A case has been registered against the absconding accused on accumulated criminal leave.

The accused, who went on accumulated leave from Kolhapur Central Jail, did not return to the jail. A case has been registered against him in the city police station. The name of the accused is Faik Mushtaq Karamblekar (Rest. A-Wing, Pride Plaza, Shivajinagar, Ratnagiri). This incident took place on September 12 in Kolhapur Central Jail, Distt. Kolhapur). According to the information received from the police, the accused Faik was released on accumulated leave of 28 days from 14th August to 11th September 2024. He was expected to enter the jail himself after taking leave. But the accused has not entered the jail yet. He has been living outside the jail unofficially since September 12. The Kolhapur police filed a complaint in the city police station in this case. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused.
