A case has been filed against a lineman in the death of a contract worker at Nivkhol

Ratnagiri : A month ago, a young contract worker died of shock while working on a pole at Nivkhol in the city. A case has been registered in the city police station against the lineman for being responsible for his death in this case.

The suspect Mahavitaran Lineman, who has been booked as Ranjit Devle (R.Ratnagiri), is named. Dinesh Anant Shinde (46, Res. Phansawale Bhavewadi, Ratnagiri) filed a complaint against him at the city police station on Thursday.

Accordingly, on October 7 at 12.45 p.m. In Nivkhol, his son, a contract worker, Kundan Dinesh Shinde (21, Ratnagiri), was forced by lineman Ranjit Deole to climb a pole without any safety equipment provided by the company’s contractor. While working on a pole, Kundan got shock and died. A case under Section 106(1) of the Indian Code of Judicature Act 2023 has been registered against the lineman in this matter.
