A 6-month-old calf along with a cow tied in a manger died in a leopard attack at Shiv Mahadikwadi in Khed taluka. The terror of the leopard has spread fear among the villagers. A cow and a calf belonging to Madhukar Mahadik were tied up in the cowshed. As usual, when he went to the cowshed in the morning, he was shocked to find that the cow and the calf had died. After informing the forest department about this, forest guard Ashok Dhakne reached the spot and conducted panchnama. Immediate compensation is being demanded for the farmers. The villagers are scared due to the presence of leopards in other villages including Shiva.
