Some countries in the world depend only on the sea. Their economy runs on it. India should make use of its maritime power. There is a huge opportunity for exploration of mineral resources, oil, corals in the sea. Commodore Srirang Joglekar (retired) asserted that work should be done to prevent plastic and other pollution in the sea.
Navy, Coast Guard, Maritime Police are providing protection. Indians had good knowledge of sea trade from earlier times. But we forgot this knowledge during the British period. Now let's recall it and let everyone contribute. Indian Navy's Commodore Srirang Joglekar (retired) asserted that India's economy will grow to 5 trillion through this. He was speaking from the chair at the inauguration of II Sagar Mahotsav organized by Asmant Benevolent Foundation at Gogte Joglekar College.
