Some countries in the world depend only on the sea. Their economy runs on it. India should make use of its maritime power. There is a huge opportunity for exploration of mineral resources, oil, corals in the sea. Commodore Srirang Joglekar (retired) asserted that work should be done to prevent plastic and other pollution in the sea.
Navy, Coast Guard, Maritime Police are providing protection. Indians had good knowledge of sea trade from earlier times. But we forgot this knowledge during the British period.
