A case has been registered at Purnagad police station against a young man who was carrying a village gun without a license at Nirul in Ratnagiri taluka. This action was taken on Friday, January 5.

The name of the suspect who has been booked is Anesh Anant Kamble (29, Chandor Boudhwadi, Ratnagiri). Police head constable Prashant Patil has filed a complaint against him at Purnagad police station. Accordingly, on Friday evening the suspect Anesh Kamble was standing on the forest road leading from Nirul to Chandor. At that time, he was carrying a 12 bore Gavathi single barrel gun worth Rs 20,000. After Purnagad police interrogated Anesh, the police noticed that he did not have a license for that gun.
