District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni expressed the expectation that if you pay attention to the competitive examination from now, you will become an administrative officer. He was speaking at a lecture series and award distribution ceremony on the importance of competitive examination organized by The Power of Media Foundation South District today on the occasion of Journalist's Day. Today, veteran journalist Rajesh Mayekar was felicitated with Journalist Samman and Sachin Sawant with Journalist Bhushan Award.
Res. Bh. Journalist Day was celebrated on behalf of The Power of Media Foundation South District at Ranjan Mandir of Shirke Prashala. On the occasion of this Journalist Day, a lecture series was organized on behalf of the organization on the importance of competitive examination. District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni tied the second flower in this series of lectures today. While guiding the students, District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni said that today I am going to tell you a few things while guiding you on the importance of competitive exams. Competitive Exams is a big topic but knowing few things today will make you curious about Competitive Exams today. We need to know about competitive exams right from school life. As we study Marathi, English, Geography, History, we should study competitive exams. There are competitive exams based on the subject we study. Reading newspaper is also very important for competitive exam preparation. You study current affairs through newspaper. Therefore, District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni advised to read newspaper regularly. He further said that through competitive examinations, we can get appointed to the post of Collector, District Superintendent of Police, Deputy Collector, Tehsildar, Inspector of Police and some other officers. There are two types of competitive exams namely UPSC and MPSC. After BA, BSc, BCom if you are going for competitive exams then you won't get much time for preparation. The seeds of competitive exams should be planted in you now. District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni said that from now you should mentally prepare for competitive exams. District Information Officer Prashant Satpute, South District President of The Power of Media Durgesh Akhade, Konkan Liaison Head Ajay Bashte, District Vice President Nandkumar Surve, Taluka President Siddesh Marathe, Taluka Vice President Sachin Sawant, Rajan Chavan were present. Senior Journalist Rajesh Mayekar was felicitated with Journalist Samman Award and Sachin Sawant was honored with Journalist Bhushan Award by District Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni. District Information Officer Prashant Satpute while guiding the students reminisced about his school life. He said that when I was in school, we were also set up for such programs.
