This Pandhrya Bhoplyachi Shaak is the best thing that could ever be done to a doodhi. And I say this after having all your halwas, pethas and koftas.
Do not be misled by the shaak in its name. This one is actually a sweet preparation made with Doodhi/ Pandhro Bhoplo(bottle gourd) and Coconut. The gourd is first simmered with coconut milk and sugar till it is almost done before adding ghee and grated coconut. It is later spiced with cinnamon and cardamom to make this the amazing sweet it is. It can be had by itself with evening tea or with chapatis for breakfast.
