How to become religious? – Just remember the golden rule: “Don't be harsh.” It's easy to get emotional about your din, but remember that humility and kindness are the keys to effective da'wah. Rigidity can create barriers, distances, and misunderstandings. This can make people defensive and not pay attention to the message we want to convey. We should never be biased in our approach based on appearances or perceptions. Instead, let's invite with knowledge, empathy, and understanding. On the other hand, humility and kindness have the power to make everything beautiful, especially when it comes to matters of religion. When we approach people with a soft heart and friendly demeanor, our message is more likely to be received with an open mind. Think about it: Would you be more willing to listen to someone who speaks to you kindly or to someone who sounds harsh and critical? Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the embodiment of humility in da'wah. He approached people with knowledge, patience and empathy. He understood that it was not about winning the debate but about winning hearts. His character and conduct attracted people towards Islam. At the end of the day, the claim is an invitation.
