Askar Ali, a 24-year-old Muslim youth who left Islam after 12 years of religious studies, recalls the teachings of Islam. Askar Ali, a native of Malappuram district, has completed the 12-year Hudawi religious program at a leading religious academy in the district. However, he left Islam and became an ex-Muslim in Kerala.
