Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The Public Investment Fund (PIF) warned against any communication impersonating its name for the purpose of seeking financial amounts or money transfers in a fraudulent manner.
In a statement on its account on the X platform, the Saudi sovereign wealth fund stressed that PIF does not provide any direct services to individuals. It underlined the need to reporting cybercrimes through the Kollona Amn (We Are All Security) application.
This application allows citizens and expatriates to submit security and criminal reports and reports related to personal attacks, threats, impersonation, extortion, penetration of social media accounts, defamation, fraud and other criminal offenses without the need to personally visit offices of the security forces.
The PIF’s warning comes as a continuation of its previous warnings against any websites, social media accounts or communication platforms impersonating its name with the aim of financial fraud. It also called for obtaining authentic information from its official sources only.
